Custom and net-new: AgenticMenuButton

Everything in this proposal that is not plain PDS v2. npm run check:tokens reads this file: each net-new class, custom CSS variable and raw value found in the code must appear here in backticks.

Net-new components

  • .pds-agentic-menu-button — a menu button whose trigger is the Agentic Button (or, icon-only, the agentic Icon Button). Built on the Menu Button's own classes.

Additions to existing PDS components

  • On .pds-icon-button: .pds-icon-button--agentic (the Icon Button proposal's agentic variant), which the icon-only open-state rule in agentic-menu-button.css targets.

Net-new props

All props of AgenticMenuButtonProps are new (net-new component): the Menu Button props except variant and isAgentic.

Custom CSS variables

  • --icon-button-fill — set on the expanded icon-only trigger (button.pds-menu-button__trigger--icon-only.pds-icon-button--agentic[aria-expanded='true']); the Icon Button's fill variable.

Raw values kept on purpose

None.
